Independent Animation

Film Bilder produces independent, animated shorts for adult audiences. The films are independent because the directors have full control and are free to realise their visions – they are not commissioned, and there are no constraints on content and no commercial pressures.The films are short because animation is, by nature, to the point, and has the greatest impact in this format. The films are made by adults for adults, enabling directors to address their audience as equals. They are entertaining and artistically radical. And they are successful.
